When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they knew that there was no turning to the other side. Ashley at the time was just seventeen at the time, and never having had previously had a romantic relationship, took the time to get acquainted. However, it was true romance at first sight. The day before New Day, right before the start of 2016 Andrew asked God to bless him with one more thing in the year... to ensure that Ashley would accept and marry him. Ashley was determined to create a wedding with a folk wooden theme that was a true representation of her as well as Andrew. They put together everything that was essential to them. Ashley's family owned 40 acres within their backyard. Ashley was a keen player and would explore throughout the entire land, even the paths they walked in order to reach it. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in the area many time when they began to date. The couple took on the bulk of the DIY and personalizing the wedding is crucial. Andrew's father and Ashley as well as Ashley made both the ceremony and seating arch. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley says that if Anna Floral Designer at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't completed her incredible floral design for us, our wedding might not have had the magical feeling I hoped it could. The work is simply stunning.
